Q: Do the Panthers pay you for being the #1 Fan, or give you free parking or anything else?
A: No, the Panthers do not pay me, nor am I affiliated with them. I do appear frequently in promos run by the Panthers and sports news outlets though. Their appreciation and recognition is welcome.
Q: Where did you get your Helmet and Cape?
A: I made the Helmet myself, modeling it after a deceased fan (Dan Jordan). He had a cat painted on his white helmet, I found a blue hardhat and a cat I mounted with a screw holding him on top. But Dan never saw my helmet. He died before the first game in 1998. My cape I designed but was painted and sewn by a local artist in Winston-Salem. Dan Jordan used to sit next to me and is in a lot of pictures early on with me, He was a Role Model Fan himself.
Q: Where did you get the Blue Hair?
A: Sorry, that must remain a trade secret. I have worn that hair since 2000 and can assure you it is unique and that there is not another like it available.
Q: How did you get front row seats?
A: I got mine early in 1993, the stadium considers them to be the worst seats in the house, but I like being close to the action. I simply asked for my seats to be exchanged to the front. Check for upgrades every year especially now before tickets go on sale.
Q: Do you do Public Appearences, like Schools, Hospitals, Parties, Tail-Gates,and etc.?
A: Yes ! My appearances have increased as has my renown. I love children and the opportunity to see the looks on their faces as they gawk at my outrageousness is very satisfying !!
COMMENT: I do like to go in to each of the games early (traveling from Winston-Salem), so I don't have a lot of time on game day. I do devote some time to fans but must do so on a first come, first serve basis.
It’s also an opportunity for good food, meeting new friends and networking. I enjoy seeing the fans come to the games, cheer the team, and “RAISE THE ROOF!!!
